To meet its scope the Biomedical Research and Education Special Unit sets four Units
- Basic and Translational Research Unit (
BTRU ) - Clinical Research Unit (CRU)
- Precision Medicine Unit (PMU)
- Medical Education Innovation & Research Unit (MEIRU)
These Units shall initially be staffed with the existing human resources of the AUTh Schools involved, with academic- fellows, postgraduate students, PhD candidates, postgraduate training fellows, post-doctoral researchers and, to begin with, a small number of new researchers. The interaction between the above groups will be decisive in boosting cutting-edge biomedical research.
